Returns Policy
Southern Girl Threads wants you to be completely satisfied with every order. If for any reason your order does not meet your expectations, please contact us within 3 days from receipt.

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

I will do everything I can to be sure you are satisfied with your order.

Please keep in mind that
ALL orders are custom orders and are made just for YOU so they are NOT returnable unless it is an error on my part.

If there is a defect with your item, I will replace your item with proof of the defect (shipping the item back for inspection or pictures to show defect).
We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).


If you do not specify a monogram font or thread color in your order you will be given the monogram style that is shown on the item example as well as either the thread color shown or white if that will coordinate better. In the event there is no information provided on how you would like your item to be personalized we will try to contact you via the email provided in your order. If after 2 weeks there is no response your item will be mailed out to you blank since our monograms are complementary.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).



We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

All Orders ship USPS First Class and Priority Mail.

You will receive a confirmation email once your order is shipped.

All products are packaged well to withstand shipping. However, there are occasions when things break due to the carrier handling the package incorrectly. I do not insure packages. If you would like to, you can pay extra for insurance. This protects your order if it is damaged by the carrier. Again, I am not responsible for products that are damaged or lost in transit.

USPS First Class packages do not ship with insurance. Priority Mail Items come with $100 insurance.

I recommend you purchase insurance on the following:

Around any major holiday season. During these time periods the packages seem to get handled without as much care.

Any large orders that are over $100.00 in value.

Please note: I cannot be responsible for anything that happens in transit to your package. This includes: delays in transit due to the shipping company, stolen after delivery...etc.
